Reminder of Posting Guidelines

1. All posts are expected to follow the following format:
Date: (date of the RP. All years are 2006)
Characters: Characters involved
Location: Where the RP is set (i.e. Hogwarts, Honeydukes, Three Broomsticks, etc.)
Private/Public: Public or Private post. Public, anyone can join in. Private, by invitation only.
Rating: if necessary, any rating for the post.
Warnings: any warnings necessary for the post.
Summary: Summary of the thread.

Here is a template to help you at the top of your posts:

2. Add a title to your post. RP: name of post or OWL: from character to character
3. Don't forget to cut-tag. Consult the IJ FAQs on how to make an cut-tag.
4. Mark it private if you don't want anyone else to join in. Mark it public if you would like to interact with others. Always ping another player first, or post in the writers comm if you have a public thread, and let the player know you intend to join in. Don't just leap in blindly.
5. Solo posts are welcome.
6. Add the correct rating and possible warnings to your post ("Adult" and "All ages" is fine if you're unsure of ratings). Sometimes things happen in a thread that you did not anticipate. Keep your header updated.
7. All play is third person/past tense. Also, all play will occur in the [info]beyond_dark community. Feel free to post backstory in your personal journals, but that does not count as current game play. (A comm for future play will be started shortly)
8. Always tag your entries correctly. There are LJ tags for each character, and each month of the game. It will make searching for posts much easier. There is also a 'complete' tag. Use this to mark your post when it is complete. That will help readers who only wish to see something when it is done.</blockquote>
